JDM Honeycomb grille on '07 Spec B USDM bumper

Has anyone tried the JDM type D/E honeycomb grille on the USDM '07 Spec B bumper?

 

I have searched around and I found a thread about an '08 modification and (aaronlee0821's car) and he was not happy with the install at all on his '08. So has anyone tried this on an '07 USDM Spec B bumper?

it barely works out on the jdm spec b 2.0 bumper rev a-c (i know as i have it) so add that to the above and all things say no go! only thing it really works well on is the actual sti legacy or jdm spec b rev d-e.

Edited for clarity. It will work with the Rev. D-E JDM Spec.B bumper as it is identical to the s402/TbSTI variant.

for some reason i saw that a couple days ago. pretty decent and hell of alot cheaper then about $400 shipped from japan. and it fits!!!!!
