mwiener2 Posted July 13, 2009 Share Posted July 13, 2009 After a second look at the pics in the first post, I don't think that will be what we get for USDM. The headers are just bare pipes. No heat shields. Look how close the one pipe is to the oil filter. Subaru already switched to a smaller filter on our cars because of oil filters getting cooked by the 'shielded' manifold. I don't think they'd take a step backwards. Edit: third look shows that they may in fact be shielded...can't tell. But I don't see a PS pump on the front of the engine.
