snow05gtRI Posted January 5, 2009 Share Posted January 5, 2009 I have the Borla, very quiet except at certain RPMs you can hear it rumble nicely (though not loud) mainly below 2k and above 3.5k-4k you can hear it, in the zone in between is nice and quiet. I have had an opposite experience than lepich, as I do not think the Borla is noisy on the highway at all. Taken it on multiple-hour drives and never had a problem. Then again I am still stage 1, but adding a DP/UP will make ANY exhaust you choose louder (inside the cabin). I've gotten a few compliments about the sound of the exhaust both from outside the car and inside the car. The most noticeable is the introduced deep rumble at engine start/idle and low RPM. noswad Posted January 9, 2009 Share Posted January 9, 2009 First of all, I dont think Ive ever heard the Greddy Evo 2 exhaust on the Legacy, so cant help there...but Im about to install a Borla CBE on my LGT wagon. Impressions and pics will follow. So far I have unpacked the box and took some pre-install pics:) Big Box also contained install instructions, hardware(but prob goin to get it welded) and a "Borla" sticker for the toolbox and a "Borla Exhaust" hat......SWEET!!...Anybody wanna call dibs?... its still in plastic!
