Subaru specifically calls the interior color brick red in their descriptions of this interior. Remember the 2006 USDM Spec B interior color? I loved it. It was also called brick red, and was definitely not baseball glove color.

I give up think what you want

I'll allow that the photos that are in the car interior (which are the ones I am referring to as not being red) look different than the ones that are just of the seat.

That being said, the in-car pictures do not in any way look like the red from the 06 spec b

Oh yeah, Subaru can't deny the hawtness of the spec b's brick red leather, they just had to bring it back! Brick Red leather FTW!! Best leather color ever, and all the ladies LOVE it!:p:spin:

Oh sure, now everybody loves red leather. In the first few years of the Stealth, everybody hated the porn red interior. I swapped my first Stealth to gray/black a few months after buying it.

Wouldn't you know that nearly 10 years later the red would be considered fashionable again - and cool because it's JDM.

There are different colors of red interior. A more purple hue of red, rather than "brick" red, which has more orange than blue, can sometimes be more appealing. A lot of the starker reds, with more blue than orange, tend to be slightly less appealing, in general, and can get a bit old. Porn red, as you say.

My wife LOVED the 2006 Spec B, but it was out of budget range, and at least as hard to find as a GT Limited manual.

The bad part was that the Spec B was only offered in one exterior color, for a premium price.

Now, after the fact, the 2007+ cars have better options, like folding rear seat backs, Aux-in stereos, and a 6MT transmission on the spec b, and now the 2009 model finally has more paint choices.... So even used, there are sacrifices associated with getting one of the cars with red interior.

But if I could find one, and had a few spare dollars, I would SO swap the Spec B brick red interior into my Garnet Red Pearl GT Limited. dark red with a hint of orange/gold inside and out. The black headliner would be great... but not even the Spec Bs get that in the US, let alone the center console from the stereo to the cup holders.

I'm definitely in favor of anything that is TRULY a premium. Particularly when it comes to plush interiors.

However, for those who were wondering, this is the "new" seat-pan seen in the Impreza, Forester, etc. Notice the single seam, vs. the double in years past. And, yes, the side bolsters have been flattened.

Yes especially with a plush leather interior as good as or better than "luxury" class vehicles. I wonder if SOA can special order? The Subie dealer said that they could easily customize new vehicle orders but the parts have to be from standard inventory in Indiana i'm sure.

I wonder if the "Premium Leather Limited" package comes with its own special turbo, too

See? I want the black pillars but I also see they have them with the "gray" ones.

Wonder how the USDM roof liner would look with black pillars.

I wonder what those red seats would look like in my Garnet Red Pearl car...

If I could have picked various things from various Legacies...

2005-2006 Garnet Red Pearl color and black headlights, and spec B-like chrome door sills, perhaps alternately Regal Blue Pearl, or WR Blue from JDM models.

2006 Spec B red leather interior, MINUS NAV, plus JDM black headliner (07 Spec B dark blue alcantara inserts on black seats, if the car is painted blue...)

2007 Spec B 6MT, SI Drive, and folding rear seats, but pre-08 Facelift bodywork with black foglight pockets.

2009 HK Stereo setup, with rear deck subwoofer.

JDM 04-06 sedan "dark chrome" tail lights with amber indicators.

Maybe full JDM bumper cover conversion... Perhaps even with Ouback/Corazon fender flares, sans Outback's side panels on the doors.

An S402-like twin-scroll turbo setup on the 2.5 engine, with proper AccessPort maps to unleash it.

Perhaps more in-depth engine mods... TGV-delete, larger injectors, etc...

Brembo brakes and lowering springs on the Bilsteins, JDM rear swaybar, or aftermarket swaybar set.

My aftermarket Megan Racing/Magnaflow CBE, with Cobb or AVO downpipe.

My hypersilver 18x8 Rota Torque wheels... (07 WRX 17x7 7-spoke winter wheels with snow tires)

JDM painted mud flaps.

K2Gear or STI rear lip spoiler. (although I do like the OE wing more than I thought I would initially.)

I want that center console.. I wonder if it comes in tan and if its a direct bolt in for our cars?

Do they make a LHD version of that? It seems like we'd need to relocate the e-brake handle at the least with the current one in the pics.

course.. I dont have I drive (thank god.) so thats a hole I'd have to cap.
