The green connectors on the passenger side most certainly should give you a CEL.

I got the CEL to stay on but not blink...i put my car in test mode before the get a CEL code with the built in code reader...would that screw things up?

Just connect the pass. side connectors. You should hear your fan kick on and off. My CEL doesn't blink when I use my AP. Then just follow the directions on the AP. Changing your Base map will take about 30-45 min. Real time maps are only a few minutes.

Fat people are hard to kidnap!!!

why would the manual stress that it needs to blink? im using AP v1. It even says "if it is not blinking refer to page 45..." i did that and it didnt help.

I was wondering about this... why is it that the fan cycles while in diagnostics mode like this?

I called Cobb when I went stage 2 all at once. They said some cars don't get the blinking but go ahead anyway. And you could hear the fan cycle on/off. Nnever had a problem.

Enjoy!

Awesome. I just got a used AP and mine's doing the exact same thing. I was stuck in limbo wondering WTF to do, lol. Thanks, all.

load up your map and enjoy the new-found insane power.

no. 08's use APv2 and dont need the CEL to blink, or to connect the white plugs. only the green plugs in the passenger footwell, and even then I think there's something special about the 07+

search for more info if thats not enough ;)
