 Congrats? It's not that the story we know is false (that you have red leather on your steering wheel) it's just that it's not OEM which everyone including SOA will verify. ;)

^^Exactly. I bought #133 brand new. Actually, I had a deposit on her 7 months in advance. Rest assured, the only two options available on the 2006 were spt short throw shifter and rear spoiler.

I concur with the above posts, the wheel is OEM, and appears to have been rewrapped professionally. Its a neat mod, and it looks like its a one of a kind!

The cover is not factory, as it was sewn on (much wider gaps between holes for thread) rather than stitched (very tight stitches). Honestly, this looks like the same thing:

with the colors reversed which is an option.

Regardless how it came to be on your wheel, its a distinctive look. If you like it, then stick with it. It IS your car, so the rest of us are expressing our jealousy at not thinking of it first. The Volvo owner's jealousy may stem from being a Volvo owner, tho.

There is no jealousy, only facts. Facts can be difficult for people sometimes but I'm here to help coach, guide, and demand they understand them.

Just looked at your profile, I see you removed that one thanks you did lend out. Did you cut off his thumbs for not paying?

That one was loaned out to RyanGT for a fantastic post. :dm: He made me lunch!

Someone Mentioned........

The possible demand problems facing an 2006 Subaru B as far as its capabilities.....As if old before its old...

I'd say there are standard equipment on that car that will match up with almost any other vehicle in its price range to this Very Day,,,,save Driverless Parking Abilities....

If maintained well this car will hold its own against competition costing substantially more and it's resale history is well known.

Don't sell this car short,,it would be an injustice.

P.S. hey Mr. Box ,,,,what's with Claimed.....are you doubting that I own number -18 bought in Town Motors,,,,Englewood N.J. Say it ain't So.....Box....

You'll notice the "claimed" link is where you first mention you owned that car. If I can find an earlier reference so be it. If you posted a "i bot #18 from town motors, nj on this date", then I'll change the link from claimed to bot. So...if you edited your previous post to have the date you bought it, I'd update the page.

Assuming it will save. Currently, the page won't save as it has too many characters. Still trying to figure how to fix that issue without starting a whole new thread.

that shift knob? I think its stock, as have seen on other specb. IDK for sure tho. Comments?

It's a Momo shift knob, you could get them from the dealer when purchasing the car.

2005 LGTs had the "STI Package" offering as well. STS, Momo Shift knob, and STI pedals.

😠 wish the guy who originally bought my car paid the extra charge for better interior stuf.

The stock shift knob is seriously like 5lbs lol
