Wondering this as well! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Anyone else have an issue with the reverse lockout cable when re-installing the new STS? For me, it isn’t lining up with hole in the shifter where the pin is meant to be inserted, it’s about an inch short. Feel like I’m missing something glaring but not sure what it would be. If anyone is familiar and can let me know I would appreciate it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

^^Madrig has the ideal setup. I’m slowly piecing together a similar setup myself. It seems extensive as he eluded to above but it’s worth it for the aesthetics IMO. I think your focus should be on EDM interior parts but I could be way off because I’m still learning as I go. Cheers boss Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

STI Genome Gauge Pack
jhough77 replied to jhough77's topic in Fourth Generation Legacy (2005 - 2009)
I bought a vent bezel from an ‘05 Legacy with no nav, removed the cubby and kept the clock. It doesn’t seem to be fitting exactly right and I thought I had heard/read that you’d need a specific bezel (JDM/EDM?) for a perfect fit. My car is an ‘07LGT.B, I haven’t tried removing the nav and using the stock bezel because it doesn’t look like it would fit. If the one I bought from the ‘05 legacy should fit and it’s just user error that would be ideal Thanks Holla Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
STI Genome Gauge Pack

Thanks to both for the response. That picture isn’t my car, just a screenshot of what I was trying to describe lol. It was from another thread I was reading on this forum. That makes sense about the JDM RHD vs the USDM LHD STI cluster. Pretty sure the piece I need is the same as Holla posted above so this is a good start. Going to start by contacting the seller I bought the gauges from to see if they have any available Thanks again Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Trying to finish assembling parts for this install on my ‘07 but hitting an obstacle. The top part of the dash, just above the radio/head unit where the Nav screen is located (cubby/vent section) - the USDM options don’t seem to fit very flush. Attaching (hopefully) an image of what I’m referring to below. Does anyone have an install thread or part number to point me in the right direction? My internet sleuthing hasn’t turned up anything for that specific part yet but will keep looking this week. If I find it in the interim I’ll post here but wanted to put a feeler out too. Thanks all Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Replacing up pipe is a good idea. I just did mine at 123000 cus the cat was clogged causing misfire's. Has anyone here had the paint re-sprayed? If so was it easy to find a shop that can match it and what did it cost/what's fair to expect? -
Cylinder misfires or bad injectors, please post here.

I have an 06 LGT spec.B w/ misfire issues. Here are the key notes from the mechanic that did the diag, I'm sure it will make more sense than if I tried to explain it myself. "Choppy on Aggressive Acceleration w/Major Loss of Power - Aggressive Acceleration Cause ''In Progress'' Cylinder Misfire - Roughness Across All 4 Cylinders Starting with 2 and 4 - Knock Sum - Between 8-16 Counts - Idle AFR - Somewhat Rich - 14.1-14.3 Cylinder Compression Test - Warm/Dry: Cyl 1 - 151.0psi Cyl 2 - 140.5psi Cyl 3 - 146.0psi Cyl 4 - 145.0psi Results Healthy and Within Specification Notes - Post-Work: - Fuel Pressure Within Specification - Compression Test - Healthy - Coil Packs Frayed - MAF Sensor - Did NOT Appear to be Damaged - No Change in AFR after Swapping or Cleaning - Cylinder Roughness First Counted in Cylinder 2 and 4 - CEL - Misfire All Cylinder 1 and 2 with 000 codes for 3 and 4". "“OCV Diagnostic Notes: - OCV on both left and right intake appear to be delayed in response and a decrease in output (angle %) is also apparent. This could possibly indicate a failure in the OCV (solenoid), the cam sprockets or the oil delivery itself (clogged oil line/foreign material). - Recommend Installing new OCV (x2) and Inspection/Clean during install." Basically, the car drives fine at low speeds and low rpm's but under load misfires. The boost leak at the turbo inlet that was mentioned above has been fixed but the OCV's haven't been replaced. The shop that I brought it to is pretty certain the catalytic converter is blocked up and that's what's causing the misfire's. I found a catalytic converter for sale that came off a 05 lgt, is there any reason to suspect that it wouldn't bolt onto my 06? -

Great looking grille and front bumper kit in the pics there. Do you know what kind they are or was it from the previous owner? -
