PeterJMC
So I went ahead and purchased an AP V2 so I can use AccessTUNER Race. Ran into the problem with my laptop not being able to find the dongle so I did some searching and found this thread again... I've been reading this off and on. Just a bump for this thread.... If your PC cannot find the driver for the device "Cobb2 FU" see the below threads. It is also possible that you might have version 1 of the dongle. If that is the case then you will need to contact Cobb for a replacement. Cobb Tuning page discussing upgrading the firmware for APV2. There is important information regarding verifying your dongle version prior to upgrading. http://www.cobbtuning.com/info/?ID=3260 Thread discussing installing the dongle driver file http://forums.cobbtuning.com/forums/showthread.php?t=41543 Dongle driver file http://www.accessecu.com/support/DongleDriverInstall.exe
Chronuss
Does anyone happen to have the install file for ATR around since it is currently not available for download?
GTEASER
Does anyone happen to have the install file for ATR around since it is currently not available for download? This was discussed in another thread. ATR is AP S/N dependent, so my install file (if I had one), wouldn't work for your AP, etc. GTEASER's 2012 Legacy GT - Sold GTEASER's 2009 XTeaser - Sold GTEASER's 1992 Legacy SS - Sold
Chronuss
To my understanding, the software requires the S/N upon install.
GTEASER
To my understanding, the software requires the S/N upon install. From my recollection when I had ATR a few years ago before my computer imploded, Cobb requires your AP S/N when you request the download and then they embed that S/N in the file that you actually download when they send you the link. So it wouldn't work with just any AP. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/street-tuner-access-tuner-race-discussion-thread-43214p38.html?highlight=Access+Tuner+Race GTEASER's 2012 Legacy GT - Sold GTEASER's 2009 XTeaser - Sold GTEASER's 1992 Legacy SS - Sold
Chronuss
The guys at ultimatesubaru.org have some versions for WRX stating that it goes by model/year then input AP S/N during installation. Was trying to find out if it was the same for LGT.
