purchased last august at 23, was my present to myself after graduating college and landing a decent job, have 2 kids, so wife wanted a "family car" Wasn't much of a decision to go with the legacy gt! Has all the bells and whistles the fmaily could ask for, and when daddy's on his own he can have fun too, no brainer.

Thanks for making me feel so young

I'm usually the oldest around here at the meets and install days.

So if the demographics are so good for the car , why near zero marketing by Subaru ?

Most car makers would die for a loyal 20-30 year old performance car buying group.

Subaru NEVER advertises this car as a performance car?????

It helps to have a good job and no family!

Right thats why I meant to say still IN college age. Like Adrian (sp??) said in the quote below.

Typically graduate college at about 22. Get first real job shortly there after. Generally no wife and kids to support; and still with one's parents. So, I would say 22 isnt a bad age to start. 23 would be easier once you have a couple paychecks under your belt and some savings. Now I would agree that buying (paying for on one's own) a car while still in college would be difficult; but thats more like age 18-21 (early 22).

I did the same thing. 6 months out of school and BAM new car :)
