Buru
Just to verify do yall recommend only using these for camber or can we switch driver and passenger sides to setup for caster and camber adjustments.
RaceComp Engineering
You can....we have not done this yet on a Legacy ourselves so I can't officially recommend it. - drew
Buru
You have said before that the Legacy is not that Caster challenged like other Subys right? Just wondering. PS have my Tarmac 1's come in yet?
RaceComp Engineering
Right, the Legacy has more caster stock then a regular Impreza. A little more would be nice, but the Impreza is just plain lacking in the caster department until you get caster plates, an ALK, STi spec C control arms etc. At that point you're in the same ball park as the Legacy is stock. - Andrew
RaceComp Engineering
Ok so we confirmed that the plates work on the 08 STI which uses the EXACT same strut hardware as the 05-08 Legacy GT. For visual puposes here is a picture. http://www.rcephotos.com/photos/albums/album02/P1030690.jpg This is the non lowering plate. We now have 1 set of lowering plates if anyone is interested. RaceComp Engineering
Btw if you swap sides with these you will gain about .5 more caster. These will work with Kw's and OEM tops. Tokico will require a special nut from us for a 14x1.5 pitch thread. Koni's with a 12x1.25 pitch WILL work fine. Bilsteins, fine. IF you have HD's and your headlights are waking up people on the second floor on your block, then these lowering plates will put the lights back on the road.
