famaya26
you make a home made bracket. Take off the tow hook cover. Install the tow hook and go from there.
famaya26
Wish I could show you. I ended up removing mine since I decided to place the plate back in the center. The holes were an eyesore

JmP6889928
Hi, looking for a fix for my unsightly JDM dash that the previous owner didn't mind ruining. Any ideas? http://i.imgur.com/9zgCF02.jpg http://i.imgur.com/bEdTnHw.jpg Thanks. Upholstery repair kit. Comes with several colors to mix and different sheets of "pattern" paper that you stick over the repair to match whatever the pattern is on the dash. About $8 in most auto parts stores. Moved over now so the tow hook cover can come off but you get the idea. Much cheaper that the Grimmspeed option. Filled the holes with grommet plugs from hardware store. GooseSRH
For sedans, the cargo nets for the sides of the trunk are a cheap mod. Subaru part number is F551SAG700, which is a kit with two nets, mounting hardware, and instructions. A trim removal tool is helpful, but you could probably just use a flathead screwdriver. The trim plugs things get removed and replaced by the mounting hardware, so you don't have to worry about mangling the trim plugs...just the trim itself. Quick install, lots of bonus functionality, only costs $20-25. The left net holds a pair of steel toe boots and a quart of oil, and I have my hardhat tucked behind it. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/22/asu7a5a7.jpg About how much do they cost for the set, bro? stm25rs
I paid $23.75 + shipping from subarugenuineparts.com, but that was when I was new here, and didn't know any of the forum vendors. Try hitting up Fredbeansparts, they're a Vendor, which means they pay money to support the site. Send them that part number and ask for a price. Roke
I think I can contribute to this thread! I've tried and done a lot of things. Some of them are already gone, but here goes: Wrap chrome grille 'bars'. Remove grille > remove bars by unscrewing them > spend some quality time at your kitchen table. I used black 3M di-noc, but you could use silver carbon look, aluminum, heck, even gold. http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Foto-LVXHTDXJ-G.jpg Wrap interior parts: http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Foto-RGNZOUZO-G.jpg http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Foto-LACVXKNM-G.jpg Wrap strip above licence plate: http://www.mijnalbum.nl/Foto-IYPGTIEE-G.jpg Plasti-dip weathered bumper protection plate. Roke
Thanks for posting these with pics. You basically rotate the bulb? You cut the lip of the bulb, so, it would fit the housing? Did you do both side or just driver side? Indeed you simply rotate the bulb with the 'rod' facing downwards. (No interference with the light coming from the top and the sides of the bulb, which is projected downwards and sideways.) I used a good pair of pincers to cut the bulb base. I fits very well; it can't rotate. I did both sides.
chance47
The stock interior lights are dim and crappy. I replaced mine with these LED lights for a few dollars and they're fantastic. Rhitter
Only need one. Delicious tuning. + IP&T Flex Fuel Kit. Not really cheap . Curious what all will be included in that kit. The EcuTek tune makes me uncomfortable, don't really like how much they lock down the ECU. For some reason that bothers me. My OBXT build
