CrazyKyu
At first I didn't think I was going to do any mods........then I found this thread. Starting me off with the cheap one to get me addicted. Â First up removal of the badges, next grill work, then stereo (I am not doing the Jazzy, but the Leptronix so I don't need to run the cd http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php/leptronix-aux-115605.html?t=115605&highlight=leprohon )Â I already know this is not going to end up well. famaya26
The Jazzy mod is worth it even with the CD. just put the blank CD in and take out all other CD'S.
ehsnils
If you want to disable the TPMS light it shall be sufficient to insert a switch on the wire at the green area in picture below: http://www.bedug.com/pics/Subaru/TPM.png It shall be a Red/Yellow wire at pin 2. Same pin seems to be used both on 4th and 5th gen. adj789
Get an aftermarket bov, buying an intake is not worth the sound is there any advantage to getting an aftermarket BOV or is it just to sound cool?
I Donated bucko3the7man Posted November 15, 2013 I Donated Share Posted November 15, 2013 is there any advantage to getting an aftermarket BOV or is it just to sound cool? The good aftermarket ones hold boost better than the leaky stock plastic bpv. aac0036
Fog light cover mod. Pretty self-explanatory... When I was in an accident I asked my body shop for silver fog light covers, so I planned ahead for that one. http://i.imgur.com/H3vsh8x.jpg Use an Xacto knife to cut the tape to suit the design  http://i.imgur.com/mVE0o0r.jpg Krylon plastic paint - $6 http://i.imgur.com/lQxfUCP.jpg Then I hit it with a few coats of clear that I already had, and that was that! $6 mod. http://i.imgur.com/RaE5liv.jpg Edited November 20, 2013 by aac0036

stm25rs
For sedans, the cargo nets for the sides of the trunk are a cheap mod. Subaru part number is F551SAG700, which is a kit with two nets, mounting hardware, and instructions. A trim removal tool is helpful, but you could probably just use a flathead screwdriver. The trim plugs things get removed and replaced by the mounting hardware, so you don't have to worry about mangling the trim plugs...just the trim itself. Quick install, lots of bonus functionality, only costs $20-25. The left net holds a pair of steel toe boots and a quart of oil, and I have my hardhat tucked behind it. http://img.tapatalk.com/d/13/11/22/asu7a5a7.jpg

CrazyGadget
Thanks for the suggestions, I will have a go at the gauges, maybe a boost or temp, resort to flocking option as an alternative.
dahoseman
The stock interior lights are dim and crappy. I replaced mine with these LED lights for a few dollars and they're fantastic.
