potentially stupid question

It's a reservoir for blood.

Make sure you empty it next time you kill a hooker or local politician.

Damn, do they have aftermarket ones with higher capacity? I don't feel like emptying it that often

This is really annoying me and I must know: What is that white plastic thing that looks like a reservoir in the trunk right next to the trunk light?

Okay - I'm annoyed because I can't visualize what it is you're referring to - and my visual recollection is really good. Pics?

Oh sorry, I forgot to say that my car is a sedan.

I can't take pictures right now unfortunately.

It is the middle seatbelt.

It is the housing for the seatbelt assembly, IIRC.

+1 for Rao.

I verified on my car and it looks like it's that, thanks a lot!

*edit* It's funny to see all those people who haven't read the whole thread before posting still trying to find an answer.

Washer fluid bottle for JDM cars with a rear wiper.

That's what I originally thought... Dunno...might actually BE the middle seatbelt retractor.:iam:

Some European cars does also have rear window wiper/washer even on sedans.

The most strange thing I did encounter was on my '82 1800 wagon, it had a washer bottle for the rear window with pump and everything worked, but there was no wiper!

Not that I needed a wiper for the rear window anyway.
