PGT Posted April 18, 2008 Share Posted April 18, 2008 I'm famous for my burgers. Last time I was down, everybody wanted t3h famous 'hamburgesas'. I tried to do them on the asado....failed miserably. :-( it doesn't get hot enough to sear the burgers and properly cook them. dynamic80 Posted April 18, 2008 Share Posted April 18, 2008 the flavor from charcoal/wood is caused by the steam/smoke they produce from meat drippings they said that could be done with a gas grill and lava stones. That right there is the biggest difference between BBQing and Grilling. I have charcoal and love it. I have used gas also, but still prefer charcoal.
