Bbc84
did you get the USDM version that says comming soon? or the JDM one that required cutting? btw hows the fitment? it looks like the top of the grill is sagging a bit, in one of the pics, so there looks to be a bigger gap between hood and grill. 808_lgt
^^^ I'm wondering the same. I ordered a rbs, but it's taking forever to come in. And I was the "sti" spoiler in carbon. So I think a carbon grill would flow nice. Edit: I'm sold on the grill and front lip. Straight sex.

justyfid
Here's my 08 Quartz Silver LGT stock but with 18 inch BBS REs http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3187/2756101789_b23b3f582c_o.jpg http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2040/2507012813_beb37ffe09_o.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3241/2754272907_a0a9d302d8_o.jpg those are some sweet pics...you must be using a pretty sick camera. On a separate note, I just finished modifying my grill. I will have pics up soon for you guys, but I was able to remove wings and modify with NO CUTTING for under $7 and it looks great! I didn't use wire mesh, but instead used a pretty strong foam mesh toolbox liner. I will try to get pics up tonight.

justyfid
Pictures as promised. This was relatively easy, but a bit of a pain at the same time. Let me know what you guys think, as if there are enough positive responses then I could write-up a how-to.
nemo
looks pretty good to me, although it looks like there are some bumps beyond the mesh. How did you remove the wings with no cutting? justyfid
You are right by seeing the two bumps. Its from what the chrome wings attach to. I can't decide whether it bothers me enough to do something about it, but time will tell. The wings are only held in with a few screws. Easy to remove when you have the whole grill off the car. BigInALegacy
Woot woot! Can't wait for mine to come in! What are you thinking for an emblem? What and where will you mount it? I may just go centered Subaru with mine... not 100% though, may look for a B4 emblem to mount in the bottom right corner.

BigInALegacy
I would pay someone to do it to a pair of lights, ship them to me, and I'd ship my stockers back. Matter of fact, I Think someone on here was offering that. I'm gonna have to check into that, cuz I REALLY want blacked headlights to match the CF scoop and grill, but I'll never get the guts to do it myself! Blazin2000
thanks for the compliments guys, not trying to spend a lot of money on the car since I just got engaged and we are saving for a house so just doing some little things to get it to stand out more.
