Hanger
Got my coils put on hoping it'll be better, and it did, but it's rubbing a teenie tiny bit the tire is rubbing againt the little plastic piece behind the rear passenger doors. I noticed the plastic piece kept on popping out as i stop to check the condition of the rubbing. So i'm gonna pop the piece out and trim the inside ○ ○ ○ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: ○ ○ ○
DiscoWagon
What wheel/tire size are you running? I didn't rub with my 245s after getting cut.

NewLegGT67
The Rota D2 were the same size but the off was 48? I can't remember. So the 45 off set on the Enkeis is what's causing the tires to rub? I'm probably the only person that has Wu-Tang Clan and Paul McCartney on their mp3. Hanger
actually i have no idea it's only 3mm difference, i don't expect it to be so much different. I think it might've been my stock struts are worn, and i had to carry the wheels around in my trunk ○ ○ ○ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: ○ ○ ○
Hanger
The Rota D2 were great, they were flush with the fender at 48 offset, 45 is just a little bit out but still flush lol i love Rota and Enkeis ○ ○ ○ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: ○ ○ ○
NewLegGT67
I saw the thread on your Rota D2s for sale with the 48 off set. It sucks that just the 3mm difference (Enkei 45 off set) is giving you so much trouble. I assume you can't adjust the coilovers. I'm probably the only person that has Wu-Tang Clan and Paul McCartney on their mp3.
Hanger
i'm gonna raise them a bit, they're too low for me right now to clear the RBS lip and lateral links in the future to add camber to the rear ○ ○ ○ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: ○ ○ ○

Hanger
Here's some pictures of the dilema right now.... http://legacygt.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1573644&postcount=98504 1. Coilovers on, same height set all around 2. (From the softest) 12 Front , 14 Rear and it's still rubbing 3. Driver rear has always been like that, looks as if the axle isn't straight? pushing the wheel to towards the front more 4. Passenger rear is fine, but minimum rubbing if go over big bumps, driver side is the worst Gonna raise the car up maybe half an inch tonight and see how it'll go Wish me luck! ○ ○ ○ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: ○ ○ ○
Gire
Fantstic wheel choice. I've loved these Enkei's for years. Light and strong and good looking. Well done!

sysfailur
Speaking of Enkei, I am looking at getting a set of summer wheels/tires and using my Rotas for winter (which I already am, anyway). I *LOVE* the GTC-01 wheels. I saw them at a local auto shop and yeah... I gotta have em next year http://www.enkei.com/RacingSeriesSpecs/GTC%2001.html My question... I've read the wheel thread on the forum and I am trying to figure out if I can use these or not. Offset still confuses me. My choices are: 18x8 35 offset, 18x7.5 48 offset. Now, my current wheels are 18x8 48 offset. I read on the guide that 18x8 35 offset = ONLY for racing, but why? I would want to have the widest possible for these wheels, 18x8, but what is the prob w/ the 35 offset? Would I need a different size tire for that offset? I've read a lot of info about offsets, tire sizes, etc and I still get confused :\

Get the Enkeis (18 x 7.5 in the 48 offset) you mentioned above and you will be good to go. This may help. http://legacygt.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4426 I'm probably the only person that has Wu-Tang Clan and Paul McCartney on their mp3. IT'S FREAKING et35 :mad: it no longer rubs in the rear... but now i have to figure out if i want to run 35 offset wheels... any pros and cons? ○ ○ ○ Instagram: itshangertime :spin: ○ ○ ○
