SCHM1AN
Ben, no problem. The DWS are good for an all-season tire, but you also may want to check out the new Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires. No word on how they do in the snow yet, though since they're so new. Franz, you've got a PM
Aken
I liked my DWS tires, and would recommend them to others.
alanztalon
I am also running DWS tires. Agree they have been very good. And a pretty decent value.

Holla
+1 for the DWS. I've driven in heavy 10"+ snow with them and they worked great. They are also quiet and have good wear life. I'll probably get another set when needed.
thenameofmysubaruisdiane
Hey guys. I just bought a LGT wagon last week in Chicago and now I'm seeing what everyone has done to theirs, trying to get some ideas rolling. I'm new to all of this, but first impression is that everyone is very helpful.

Post some pics, everyone is here is very helpful. is the car totally stock or already modified? First thing is to make sure its 100% up to par mechanically. Its black and totally stock. Only has 73k on it and the only fault I've found is a noise coming from the rear passenger suspension when I drive over rough pavement. I'll post pictures soon. Rob05GT
Milwaukee area members, looking for a partner for some assistance with maintenance, modifications, etc. Just looking for a local group of Subaru owners. Knowledge is power. Anyone interested? Looking for a 2.5L H4 turbo (EJ255) short block or long. I wanted to pick one up and learn how to build the motor up. Figure its just like complicated LEGOs' right. Never learn if you don't just do it. Edited December 11, 2013 by Rob05GT
Th3Franz
I have a EJ255 long block for sale. lost #3 ring but the leak down was 15% so a good rebuild candidate. Cylinder walls look good. Heads look good and are separated. I'm in the Milwaukee area. I don't do a whole lot of wrenching anymore since I have no place to do it right now. I know these cars inside and out though so if you have any questions, let me know. -Franz Edited December 11, 2013 by Th3Franz -Franz The end of a Legacy http://www.youtube.com/th3franz
