psi365
Our first of four RS4 cab showed up tonight. Thought I'd share a few pics. I can tell you the seat warmers were good enough to keep me warm while doing 65mph tonight at about 53 degrees . http://cycle-planet.com/chris/rs4a.jpg http://cycle-planet.com/chris/rs4b.jpg http://cycle-planet.com/chris/rs4c.jpg http://cycle-planet.com/chris/rs4d.jpg http://cycle-planet.com/chris/rs4e.jpg http://cycle-planet.com/chris/rs4f.jpg

psi365
the cars nice but im more excited by the shop! even though i dont like in ground lifts. I'm not. They set a lot of things up really wrong. I do actually like in ground lifts better. You aren't fighting the lift posts to keep doors open when doing interior work, the in grounds post is more central to the car and makes it a little easier to rack cars, and you don't have to hold two levers to lower cars. Guest heightsgtltd
I like it. I'm sure the new owner will love to hear that you were driving it at 65mph
TSiWRX
That's gorgeous....... I like it much better than the current 3-series convertible. I guess we'd have to see a "new" M3 convertible in order to make the full comparison, but I guess I just really like the lines on this one. <-- I love Winky, my "periwinkle" (ABP) LGT! - Allen / Usual Suspect "DumboRAT" / One of the Three Stooges '16 Outback, '16 WRX, 7th Subaru Family
Guest heightsgtltd
The only problem is the interior color. That would get dirty as soon as you leave the dealer!
psi365
I like it. I'm sure the new owner will love to hear that you were driving it at 65mph We work off of a major highway. I was doing 10 over, which is a lot slower then when I used to do Porsche new car inspections (the rule of thumb for a Porsche new car inspect is that you should go at least 100mph to make sure there aren't any vibrations) not saying I actually ever did that. That isn't the best color combo, I agree with that. I would like to see black exterior, black top, red interior accents including seats. White with black top, red interior accents would be cool too. Guest heightsgtltd
Doesn't Audi offer some new thing where you can have any color combos you can think of?
psi365
Doesn't Audi offer some new thing where you can have any color combos you can think of? Actually that has been around for awhile. It's just more known now. We actually have a special ordered RS4 in white (not a color choice) and the owner of the dealership just traded his special ordered glut orange RS4 in. Guest heightsgtltd
I read about choice program on autoblog that they said was recently introduced. I think I started a thread on here about it.
psi365
I think its about a $2500 option. You can now also get the titianium package for the RS4 sedans ($750 iirc) were the owners car had teh special color ($2500) and another "Audi exclusive" package that was another $8500 which was custom floor mats with orange piping, steering wheel with orange piping, seats with orange piping, the gunmetal RS4 wheels, gunmetl grille and side mirros. Now minus the interior stuff is that $750 titanium package.
Guest heightsgtltd
I like the idea of being able to truly customize a purchase if you are going to spend that much.

How have the new Audi TT's been selling? They seem to be very expensive for what they are, but that's just my opinion. I like it, but don't think it's worth $40K+ for a fwd 2.0T car. The 3.2 gets silly expensive very quickly with just a few options. .

Honestly I don't any Audi is worth what they are asking these days. A3's with just a few options are around $35k, A4 2.0T quattro's are now $40k (in 00 S4's were just a little over $40k), A6's are stupid money, A8's forget about, that's not even getting into the S's and RS's. New TT's are a ton better then the old ones. They just aren't selling cause of the high price tag, land no ablility to do certain things ( you can only get a 2.0T as a fwd and it can only be dsg. You can't get a 2.0T quattro. You can get a 3.2 which is quattro only in either dsg or manual). Audi is pricing themselves out of the market. They really haven't had a "real" hit mass car in a long time. If they keep on this trend they'll be pulling out of the US with in the next 5 years or so.
