oddseth Posted October 19, 2007 Share Posted October 19, 2007 Apparently one of our friends over at NASIOC spotted a strange looking leggy with strange looking rims, an enlarged hood scoop, fender flares, body tape all over, and testing telemetry inside. Might it be a leggy Sti for the US or a mule for the next gen leggy or a new engine option? Who knows...bring on the speculation. oddseth Posted October 19, 2007 Author Share Posted October 19, 2007 It is possible that this is the testbed for a new powerplant and the external sheet metal is just a disguise for the actual model. The Forrester test mule clearly had an outback shell on it as disguise and this is a pretty common practice. Why would they give out more information than they needed for testing purposes? Do we know of anything that currently has a wider body? or something that needs a wider body than the legacy that would also need a larger hood scoop?
