biturbowagon
(Mods: feel free to move this message if there's a better place for it.) I recently made an appointment for my car at Marshall's. I showed up. It's closed. I was told that it's gone. Anyone know what happened? It's a bummer to have one of the good guys go away.

1-3-2-4
odd.. don't they have to let the customers know they are going to close ahead of time?
eles1
They probably got caught giving their Subaru customers some decent service so SOA shut them down.
VtspecB
Never used them for service but I stopped in occasionally to see their stock. They had kind of a bad location right on that hill ... the showroom was nearly on top of 9W. my vBGarage
Opie
They probably got caught giving their Subaru customers some decent service so SOA shut them down. SOA always gives good service, it's the bad individual dealerships that don't. If all the Subaru dealers were corporate owned you'd see the difference. I absolutely couldn't disagree more with this statement, but regardless, it's the "bad individual dealerships" with which we must interact. biturbowagon
This appears to be the key quote: Marshall's has been in business for about 80 years. Until about four years ago it was owned and run by the well-respected Marshall family.
