miles Posted March 9, 2009 Share Posted March 9, 2009 I know this thread has been dead for a while, but Im really starting to have this problem pretty seriously. 06 2.5i MT. If I ever have to pull out of somewhere quick, my car pretty much shuts down. I can have the pedal to the floor and it barely wants to move. I might as well be starting in 4th from a stop. Posted March 11, 2009 Share Posted March 11, 2009 i still say it's a learned attribute. getting on the gass too much boost kicking etc then releasing at THAT rpm. do it enough times and it is learned. out of 2 years i have had it once. not before or after. i cleared the ecu when it was happening. been months and months now. nothing. was at stage 1 as well. still am at stage 1. never happened stock.
