What does everyone clean there rims with?

I've used regular car soap and a spare washing mitt, but I've also started to use dedicated wheel cleaner. If you buy some, just make sure there are no warnings about using them with the type of finish you have.

I made sure to seal them before I put them on, so all they require is a pass with my old wash mitt and carwash soap (I'm using Meguir's Gold Class car wash). I plan on taking them off and resealing them at least once a year.

I think the trick is to wash them regularly before the brake dust builds up on them. Once every 6 months I use Meguiars wax on them, seems to seal the dust from getting in.

Also run the sponge behind the spokes weekly to keep the inside of the rims clean. If you are so inclined, roll the car 1/4 turn to clean where the caliper sits.

I do the muffler tips weekly to keep them sparking also.

I have been told never to use a wheel cleaner containing acid. I just don't use anything but Meguiars car wash - easy as and very gentle.

When I want to clean 'em really well, I use Meguiars Cleaner wax...makes sense really since almost all wheels for us are painted.

Anyway - that works great. Once they've been cleaned using that once, I can usually just clean them w/soap & water for awhile, plus they stay a bit cleaner between washes.
