to those who doubled up on rear spring pads

why do you need 2x spring pads? i had H-Tech's and car was level. bosco
The stock tophat doesn't allow the Tokico shaft to extend far enough through it to fully thread the top nut onto it. The Spec B ones do, but with them you end up with a slight increase in ride height up front. Doubling-up the rear spring pads adds about the same or slightly more ride height to even it up front to rear instead of being a little tail-heavy looking.

Here is a picture with the difference between stock and with cobb springs. Notice the slight rake towards the front. They are designed for the LGT. The ride is slightly rougher than stock but then again, they are lowering springs.....

Here is my wagon before/after with doubled rear spring seats:

The car has JDM Spec B Bilsteins with Prova springs.

So I have read all of the threads and I would like clarification...... do you stach the pads or do you put one on the bottom? The way the pads are they have a smaller diameter part that fits down inside the spring, so does that mean that the part that would normally fit inside the spring on the second one will fit inside the first pad?

great! I just installed GT Auto pinks and USDM Spec B bilstiens on my car and am trying to decide if I want to add the extra pad. I already have the extra pads in the garage. I am not sure if the rear is low or if I am just paranoid from all of the threads about the rear being low.

I just ordered pinks for my spec b. Unclemat told me to get MT Wagon springs for the best stance. They are the same rate just a longer spring.

 

I just installed AT GT pinks and the car sits almost perfectly level. LOVE THE RIDE!!
