godwhomismike
I didn't know BMW had a 335xi. I feel out of the loop that there was something I didn't know
godwhomismike
is the 335xi quicker than the 335?
jim1969
probably not. the AWD will add weight. I'll take a look at that car in the future.
rao
it is scheduled for production in September 07. Interesting car, but too small and way too expensive. Rob IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR CAR YOU SHOULD NEVER DRIVE IT
godwhomismike
probably not. the AWD will add weight. I'll take a look at that car in the future. you forget the extra traction with AWD. Out of the hole it'll have massive amounts of grip, where the rwd will be fighting for traction.
iyalla
Its a tick slower than the non XI and a tick less fuel economy, especially the auto. But if you live in the snow belt those numbers won't bother you

Very true. My dad's got 2 years left on his 330xi...I want him to get another BMW, preferably the 335xi, but he wants a Corvette. I can buy the 330 for $27,000 and its a beautiful car, I just dont have that kind of money. X drive is also rear biased. 30/70 split so that sports car feeling is there. Its not as good as our AWD, but it gets you there.
SLegacy99
20 mpg city and 29 hwy. How is that possible? Thats better than the 330.

Thats better than the 330. if you keep a turbo car out of boost they'll make even better gas mileage than a N/A car. Once you tap into that boost - it's all over. Jedi Pimp
^^^Oh the ironing. Coming from a guy with the most expensive small car around.
PGT
Perhaps, but it was still a couple grand cheaper than my LGT. If there was a 535xi Touring for $45k, I'd buy. I'm not going to pay $45k for a 335xi sedan.
Penguin
I'll wait and see if they bring us a 335d or 335xd. That would be perfect for my needs, since I do all highway driving these days.
Ispool4u
its official. i have purchased my 335xi. should be here in june. its been fun with the legacy but time to upgrade. How much? 45k? Someone on here just started a lease on a 335i for aorund $475 a month. A similiar deal on the xi sounds like it would be worth it. I'd like to wait for the 135xi though. SubLo
Looky here... just a few months away. Hmm... I'd love to have this car but I'm still feelin' the Aero-X coupe more - less bourgeoisie plus v6 g00dness. http://www.leftlanenews.com/bmw-to-offer-awd-on-3-series-coupe.html http://www.longislandsubaruclub.com/forums/images/smilies/whistling.gif ________________________________________________ '05 BSM OBXT Row-your-own, W.I.P. '06 Shrek B # 64 - The car the wife loved to hate :( Sold...
