Akasa
Are the silver stars baked between two layers of plastic, or are they right against the black backing? Basically, can I change the color of the stars easily?
blackdiamond18
Are the silver stars baked between two layers of plastic, or are they right against the black backing? Basically, can I change the color of the stars easily? The stars will be a little harder to reach. So basically, when you get the badge apart, on the back is the blue color and you can just sand that down and the blue part will be clear. The stars on the other hand, are engraved into the badge, so you have to sand in the small star shaped engraving to get rid of the silver color. It's definetly possible, just takes a little more effort

kent55
This was my first attempt at separating the emblem and messed up the star just a little bit. If i do this again I will try drilling at the very top edge on the all blue area. This is an amazing mod. I can't image how someone realized this was possible. Thanks for posting it! Here's mine so far. http://i774.photobucket.com/albums/yy26/kent55/IMG_20160825_221030192.jpg
