scans007
scans007, is that a decal or painted on? I used a decal and i will be brushing on clear engine enamel over the decal tomorrow. Mine was a decal.....perfect for a year. It was sold as a caliper decal though, good for the heat and abuse......who knows if it was true advert....but it held up awesome, through all the New England weather....... laz
The vinyl usually used for these decals has a life rating of 5 to 7 years outdoor life. This means it will withstand UV rays, heat, normal weather elements, etc. as long as it is applied correctly. <shameless plug>http://www.buyadecal.com</shameless pluf> And that link is just so that people know they are out there, and different ones can be made. I applied mine as a test over a dirty unpainted caliper, and they look as good as new after car washes, snow storm, downpour, etc. X ---
