LegGTLT
You should buy a US '05-'06 GT LT in GRP. They're even cheaper then you think! Mine with 42k on it and excellent condition only KBB's for about $19500 or so. Bad for us, good for you! Please PM joeleodee For All Site Questions. ATB
+1... How many who are actively complaining about lack of this and lack of that are honestly, realistically in the market with intention to buy anyway? I was in the market for a LGT MT wagon to replace our too small for a baby seat WRX wagon. That is until it was clear around Nov (based on info from Samir) that there would not be an 08 MT LGT wagon. So I went out and found a lightly used '05 that I just love. I wish I had bought one as soon as they came out. Really glad I didn't hold out hope for the '08s. Too bad it looks like it will be my last Subaru.

Jon in CT
Hell.. even if it was just offered in one "fully loaded" trim level with one interior color and a select few exterior colors.People would have been hectoring it in the same way they do the spec.B now. ATB
Not me. I would own a specB wagon today if one had been offered. I would most likely sell the '05 and buy an 08, 09, etc if one is ever offered (with a MT). ;1045531']People would have been hectoring it in the same way they do the spec.B now. Mr.EMan
This is usually a difficult and expensive exercise. There is one shortcut, however. If a manufacturer writes you a letter stating that the car basically meets U.S. standards, U.S. Customs would accept that in lieu of emission testing, modifications, etc. Most manufacturers (BMW, VW, Porsche, Mercedes, et.al.) usually won't do this. Anybody try this approach with Subaru and Canada?
