Washed with RainX washandwax, Meguiar's Quik Detailer and clay bar, followed up with Meguiar's Cleaner Wax. First time I used the detailer and clay bar, and found that it easily removed the contaminants from the paint. Especially the bug guts I couldn't get off on the hood and the tree sap. CTATV Posted October 16, 2007 Share Posted October 16, 2007 I wasnt overly fond of the NPB at first glance the stealership that ive been dealing with that has about 6 LGT ltd has two blacks and a NPB the NPB has less miles lower price, and has the off black interior not the taupe which Is what I really wanted. After lookin through all these pics I think im falling in love... Atlantic Blue Pearl is very close, and Regal blue is MUCH darker. 2005 had the option to choose the interior color. Newport Blue replaced Atlantic and Regal blues on the GT for 2007, and was only available with taupe interior. That is when the dark gray color arrived, and Garnet red departed as well. Buy the car with the black interior, and swap the interior with someone who WANTs black interior... there are some that don't like the taupe. gsuperman Posted February 1, 2008 Share Posted February 1, 2008 So does anyone post pics of their Newport Blue Pearl car in here anymore I will take some pics today of my Subie in the snow, lots of it here in Toronto. And in reference to the Leather question, you only get Black Leather interior with the Newport Blue in Canada only. Sponge Posted March 18, 2008 Share Posted March 18, 2008 I am sure it looks good in person with this color...pictures generally don't do justice to chrome I believe they are 30% on the rear doors/windows/gate I don't have tint on my front two windows...its illegal in Illinois without a special license plate. They are cracking down on that and I don't need my wife to be pulled over with a screaming kid in the back seat b/c of windows. However, I ordered the B4 badge, will probably stick that on this week sometime. Â I just washed my car this weekend too, but I was too busy with Holiday stuff to remember to take pics of it.
