BoxerGT2.5
What makes this a pain in the ass on my car: I welded everything together from the downpipe to the Y-Pipe. It's a STI DP from TurboXS and their HFC. It shouldn't have fitted on my car, but with a little fabrication it fit perfect. http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y279/SteveISU/100_0837.jpg http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y279/SteveISU/100_0836.jpg OBAMA......One Big Ass Mistake America! rao
See, I told you to use anti-seize That UP looks like a quality piece, can you say "cold weld" ; was it wrapped??? You really should put a joint or 2 in the exhaust; I learned that the hard way long ago. You really should put a joint or 2 in the exhaust; I learned that the hard way long ago. Remember that rattle I was asking you about, well it was the UP. It was not wrapped, which probably would have made all the difference in the world. I used anti-seize and a torque wrench putting everything back on (32ft-lbs on everything=sealed perfect). Rich would be so proud. Getting the TBE back on the car wasn't hard. I just used a jack to lift it back up and roll the DP back onto the turbo. From there I just started putting the hangers back on and Wa-La. Overall it took me about 2hrs. OBAMA......One Big Ass Mistake America!
