Cobb Supercharged Tribeca

Recommended Posts

DOO EEET. Why the need for more power? (you can always ask Cobb to add the supercharger...)

The only problem is no black interior and no manual transmission with the 3.0R...

Lowered looks good... I wonder what even lower would look like, or an OB bodywork transplant on a slightly lowered legacy would look like...

It is too bad to build really nice Legacys that one almost has to peice together other cars.

A Legacy sedan with OB bodywork, H6 with the rotrex supercharger (or perrin's turbo kit) and the 07 Spec B's 6MT, or a WRX STI's DCCD and front/rear LSD drivetrain with the spec b's gearing...

The parts all exist... but as usual, they don't come pre-assembled.

Well its the nicest tribeca but still. Its 320 flywheel, 270 tq, at first i thought that was at the wheels and i was really amazed. I bet its still quick though.

Kinda confused why they have a project tribeca , but no project legacy :( (If they do its not on the site)

P.S. They really need to update their site once in a blue moon.

Yeah the Cobb site's design is very old and is in serious need of an overhaul. I'd hope that when they add the Evo to their list of cars they would just completely revamp it. There was a time where if you clicked on the old Impreza menu the STI page link dissapeared from their left hand cars options.

I hope Tribeca does well for Subaru in the mini-SUV market. These guys must have done the research to know that Outback was not quite enough for some large group of customers that would buy Subaru, but needed more than Outback. Hope their research indicated that style has nothing to do with target Tribeca demographic. Even the interior dash design is an exact copy of the 1980s Toyota Mini-bus front dash. Maybe Toyota had thousands of the dash boards in a warehouse and Subaru made a deal hoping no one would remember "Toyota Mini-Bus Dash".

Have you ever seen a Tribeca interior? It has been widely praised for its design and quality!

I think they DO have a project Legacy (kinda). A white one that I believe is Christians. Mybe more like a test ride for various components under developement.

I second the nice interior on the Tribeca. Personally I like it a lot. It is a very nice package. What I like the best is the way the wheels/tires fill the opening. They are nice and wide, which give the car a nice sporty look. Go see a Lexus RX330 and you see what I mean, they have skinnier tires which make it look wimpier. Oh and I feel the seats arer way more comfortable than the GT's.

This is comes from me driving my mother's new Tribeca.
