What's is it like driving the "full" sized Legacy after 4 generations of the uh, sportier generations. Smaller as well.

I adapted more easily since I got older with each one. I was 23 or so when I had the 98 LGT turbo. Now I'm 36 with the 2015, married, and have two kids. So they all drove the way they were supposed to drive for how old I was :)

The 2015 feels a little bigger than past designs, and not as easy to throw around. But with some light mods, it'll be easier to do that. I've got an STi 20mm rear sway bar on it now, and putting on the 18x8.5 STi wheels this weekend with 245 wide tires. Should make it a little more grippy in the corners.

Car 25 - 2015 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited

I like the 2015 for a few reasons. It's (IMO) the best looking model that Subaru has made to date. It doesn't feel like a Subaru - going over bumps, you barely feel it even with 18" wheels. The Harman Kardon sound system for 2015+ is the best audio system to date.

I dislike that it still feels cheap, like an Impreza. The paint is still paper thin and super sensitive. The CVT takes away a lot from the 2.5L, but it makes up for it in MPGs. I was getting 32mpg for the first 2k I've owned it, but has risen to 34-36mpg recently.

Thanks for replying! I recently did a trip to northern NH and cruised much of the time at 75 MPH.. I averaged 35 MPG on that tank of fuel and drove 600 miles before the low fuel light came on! That is excellent for a mid sized car with full time AWD and 2.5 liter engine.. I agree the Legacy gives a nice ride and i like the climate control and eyesight package too.. The premium model stereo is good but the speakers could be much better.. Think if decent speakers were installed it wouldn't be too bad..
