  1. It's totally suitable for the street if you're not wary of some NVH and relatively stiff springs/dampers. If you're on worse roads, probably worth adding some ride height as well.
  2. Just the grille, he gave it to me along with the hotchkis bars before he sold his LGT
  3. Year, Make and Model: 2007 Legacy GT spec.B Color: Diamond Grey Metallic Miles: 175k Transmission: 6MT Title: Clean Lien: N/A Location: Nashua, NH VIN: 4S3BL696773201624 Seller's email address: shamitsom@gmail.com Asking Price: 10,000 For sale is my 2007 spec.B. Car was purchased by me off of LegacyGT forums in 2015, I think I'm 6th owner. Car was originally from CA/NV, eventually made its way to CT before I bought it. It was used for daily driver duties and occasional autocross. For the two winters it was driven in my ownership, the underside was coated in Fluid Film. There is no rust to speak of since it was not a New England car for long before I bought it, and it hasn't seen a winter since 2016. Always garaged. The original motor lost compression in cyl2 in 2017. A built motor was eventually swapped in around 167k miles, and since then, the car has only seen autocross and track use since (probably about 15 autocross events and 5 track days). Car is in excellent running condition, and would be a great starting point for a proper dedicated track car. I'm interested in changing platforms, so looking to sell the car to someone who'll enjoy it. New motor (<10k miles) has fully forged internals and was spec'd to handle 450-500whp reliably. All that's left to reach that would be a bigger turbo, injectors, and a tune, all other supporting mods have been done. Engine replaced at 166.5k miles, spec'd to handle 450-500whp: OEM EJ255/257 shortblock machined and assembled by Larry's Auto Machine in Groton, CT OEM STI 11mm oil pump OEM STI nitrided crank OEM oil cooler Rallispec forged rods Manley forged pistons King main/rod bearings ARP head studs Rebuilt D25 heads (valve lapping, new guides, new OEM buckets for clearances) Aisin timing belt kit Koyo VH091662 radiator Killer B oil pickup Killer B baffle Killer B Holy Header w/ V-band uppipe and Swaintech coating Cobb 3" catted downpipe SPT v2 catback exhaust and Vibrant 1142 resonator SPT turbo heatshield JMP VF46 Custom (installed on original motor around 117k miles) Grimmspeed 3-port EBCS + Hallman Pro RX manual boost controller (hybrid electronic/manual boost control) AEM dry-flow air filter Perrin turbo inlet hose IAG Air-Oil Separator (v2 Competition) Grimmspeed top-mount intercooler JDM manifold runners (TGV deletes) Fluidampr crank pulley Spartan 2 + Bosch LSU 4.9 wideband O2 sensor (mounted in downpipe bung, wired into rear O2 sensor) Cobb fuel pressure gauge (wired into LH TGV) Secondary Air Pump delete + KSTech block-off plates AEM320 fuel pump Fumoto F105N drain valve Open-source tuned, targets 18-19psi peak boost on 93 pump gas. Was dyno tuned on the original motor by Mike Kinsman (Tuning Alliance) at Enhanced Street Performance in Sterling, MA, and originally put out 270whp/315ft-lb wtq on the Mustang dyno @ ESP. Tune has been further tweaked by me after replacing the motor. 4. Slowly cleaning it up and getting it ready for sale. Did an oil change on it last week and snapped some pics of the underside while it was up. Need to clean the interior, give it a wash, take some pics, and write the FS ad. Anyone looking for a good starting point for a dedicated autox/time trials/track LGT?
  5. Subarus are not great money-to-pace platforms for the amateur motorsport stuff I'm interested in (autocross, time trials). I've already sunk way too much money into this car, and I'm looking to mostly avoid continuing the sunk-cost fallacy road I've been walking
  6. Took it for its last event for the season yesterday, had fun. Put it away for the winter at the parents place. Thinking the time has come to move on. Will likely be cleaning it up next spring and listing it for sale... you heard it here first!
  7. Took it to the SCCA ProSolo in Brunswick, ME this weekend. Didn't do all that well, but damned if it wasn't a fun time! As always, stupid old Subaru problems bit me on the way up... lost the clutch pedal during the drive up in stop-and-go traffic on the highway. Bled it on the side with help from the GF and managed to make it to the site (after also popping the IC/charge hose off and needing to limp the car due to a crappy hose clamp). Thankfully the car made it through its runs for my GF and myself with no issues. The new tires (265/35 kumho v730s on 18x10.5 ET15 RPF1s) feel awesome. Just need to figure out this clutch pedal issue.
  8. Mostly finished with getting flares and meaty wheels (5x100 18x10.5 ET15 RPF1s with 265/35 Kumho V730s) installed. Also slapped on some new brake pads (Hawk HP+ in front, HPS5.0 in rear).
  9. Would you be willing to sell that grey connector/harness from the back of the radio? It's the FM antenna adapter (grey 2-pin plug to a coax jack on the back of the head unit).
  10. I think I'm unfortunately out of this one. Too much working against me to make this trip with work and Father's Day plans. Perhaps next time, or if there's another one (I remember reading musings about a Finger Lakes area meetup as well).
  11. Unsure if I'll be going to this now... Will be in San Diego for a conference for work the entire week, flying back home on a red-eye Thursday night. Will know closer to the date. Still need to figure out lodging; would much prefer to crash on a bed or couch than a tent.
