sandwood
Well, that is interesting. More info about air vent boost gauge? it's an omori adjustable/mechanical boost gauge, 45mm iirc, with a custom made insert made by a local audio shop. bondo molded over wood, sanded and painted. they did a great job. it's somewhat angled to the driver and the vent still works, albeit only with the left-right directional vane intact. getting out of the legacy game
Legasee
The "hood-looking" piece on top of the unit on in this pic...is that a custom piece, AVO piece, or OEM, thanks! (your unit looks niiiiiiiiice!) http://www.legacygt.com/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=14486&d=1139208355 Here are some pictures of my install, i know that the amp wiring in the back does look messy, but i always put so much stuff in my trunk that i never see it anyways. This is what i have installed: -pioneer deh-p8600mp -hifonics brutus bx1500 for sub -phoenix gold ms275 for front stage -boston accoustics 6.4 tweeters and morel 6.5 inch mids -infinity kappa perfect vq 10 inch subwoofer -dampened my front doors with 50 sqft of raamaudio dampening and ensolite. Right now i am saving for some new front speakers, i am looking at seas components, or maybe going diy. In Taiwan now...

gfxdave99
My panasonic / AVO kit is being installed sunday, pics to follow. If everything seems under control, you're just not going fast enough. - Mario Andretti
Legasee
Thanks for your replies guys... What exactly does the AVO's "Center Cubby 1DIN fascia" include? Should I get the 1Din fascia or let the install shop modify the factory bracket? Thanks again... I'm still picking out my single din... I'm looking for something that's gonna play EVERYTHING including recorded CD's, DVD, VCDs in all regions, doesn't have to be touch-screen (actually I prefer the button/stick controller so I don't get my finger prints all over the screen), a few outputs, and TV tuner (internally or externally's fine) included. CDN 2.5i
Sorry for the x-posts but thought this would be a good place to put my install... Metra 99-8901 dash kit (2.5i with manual controls) Sony CDX-F7710 HU (3 preouts, F/R plus sub, and aux in) Sony XM-504x 4ch amp JL Audio e1200 mono amp JL Stealthbox factory door speakers for now (but have some new Sony 3-way 6 1/2s for the rear, they were included with the deck purchase, and looking for a good deal on some decent front coaxs currently) 4 GA power cable through firewall grommet and overbuilt hinged amp rack Can see aux cable just aft of the shifter - cable exits below center console on passenger side, approx 1 ft of cable exposed. The most involved install for me yet. Took several nights but I'm proud I was able to do it myself (not without a bit of grief). Very satisfying now . EDITING to attach thumbnails to replace originally hosted images that got deleted. Also, swapped out JL e1200 for a JL 500/1 - MUCH better and swapped out OE front speakers for JL VR650-CXi's. Still contemplating whether or not to do the rears. I don't have pics of the 500/1 yet as I can't find my digital camera

aldouse
hmmm... it looks great @ night. i like the way your radio looks at nite better than mines. now if we can only change the color of the leds inside the radios to red so that it'd match the rest of the vehicle for a nice stock look.... now that'd be sweet -- yay for the sig! -- my garage!
