Alright, I'm jumping the gun here since I'm not 100% done, but just finished with the major work:

Canton QS 2.160 Components - Front

Eclipse EA 4000

JL Audio Sub

Dynamat

Plexiglass cut out in rear

Here are pics

Computer fans w/ blue LEDs in the bottom corners to keep the amp area cool.

I like the fans! Good work so far looking foward to seeing it complete.

Some background info first...

I finished teaching a lesson and went to my car to grab a power bar, but found that the wrappings of all of them had been shredded. I thought it may have been from them sliding around too much in the back seat...rubbing against each other or the seatbelts, or something rational like that.

Definitely not...four days later the wrappers were still being shredded...

Anway, peanut butter did the job. I wasn't sure if it was a mouse or not at the time...that's why I placed glue traps, cages and traditional traps...

At least the paper towels didn't need to be used.

And I honestly think the damn thing fell off a tree through the sunroof, because I never left my doors open for an extended period of time; but I always left the sunroof wide open when I parked in the shade under a tree.

Cheers.

You would be surprised at how mice can find their ways into cars. Shortly after some friends of mine took delivery of their first Elise they started noticing crumbs and seeds in the floor of their car. They couldn't figure out how a mouse could have found its way in (bottom of car is more or less "sealed") but couldn't find any other explanation. When they went to pick up their second Elise they stopped at Deals Gap and while there they noticed a mouse running under the car and jumping up into one of the underbody trays. It has eventually left but its funny to think that the little thing got to ride around (and autox) in an Elise for 6~ months.

AMD Sempron 2800+

ECS MB

Seagate 80GB hard drive

400W ATX Power Supply

Sound Blaster Live! PCI sound card

So, is that a seven inch? If so, do you think an 8 inch will fit?

Well here is my old set up; I haven’t completed the new one yet. I used to have an Acura RSX Type-S and well I went all out. I was planning on competing, but it just never ended up happening. I built part of the final set up myself, and then had someone else finish it. I will post some pictures tonight when I get home of what I myself had done as well.

Old Set Up:

Eclipse AVN5435 Navigation System

Diamond Audio M6 Components w/ an M6 woofer rear fill

Image Dynamics IDMAX 12" Dual 4 Ohm

Phoenix Gold Titanium 475Ti (also known as the 500.4) running at 4 ohm 75 x 4

Precision Power Inc. (PPI) PCX-1250 running at 2 ohm 500 x 1

ViewSonic N2000 20" LCD TV

300 Gig Modded Xbox running on HiDef

Stinger 1 Farad Cap w/ Digital Top

Dual Optima Yellow Top Batteries (Honda size and dual post)

Stinger 200 Amp Relay

JL Audio 2 Gauge Amp Kit

JL Audio 4 and 2 Channel Signal Cables (blue jacket/high end)

Stinger Expert Series 2 Channel Signal Cables (took audio back to the deck)

Select Products 14” Linear Actuator Motor (TV up and down motor)

Monster Audio Speaker Wire

New Set Up:

Rockford Fosgate 3Sixty.2 Processor (in conjunction with the stock headunit)

Boston Acoustics Pro Series Components

Boston Acoustics S Series Rear Fill Coaxial

Image Dynamics IDMAX 12” Dual 4 Ohm

Diamond Audio D6600.4 running at 4 ohm 75 x 4

Diamond Audio D61500.1 running at 2 ohm 1000 x 1

Kenwood LZ-701W 7” LCD TV mounted in the factory navigation position

Subaru Navigation Bezel modded to hold the 7” LCD

300 Gig Modded Xbox for music, games, videos

Optima Yellow Top Battery (dual post)

JL Audio 2 Gauge Amp Kit

JL Audio 4 and 2 Channel Signal Cables (blue jacket/high end)

Stinger Expert Series 2 Channel Signal Cables (takes audio back to the processor)

Monster Audio Speaker Wire

Either BatCap Cap or a Secondary Battery (not sure which yet)

The Legacy will be simpler then the RSX was, just going with a nice box/amp rack set up; nothing special.

i dont think so... you could put a lcd in the navi spot, then buy a cheap dvd player... run that to a processor like cleansweep or the 3Sixty.1/2. that would do it, use the aux in on them... that would keep your functionality along with adding the tv/dvd player on there.

  • 4 months later...

Here's mine.

  • 2x Stealth Boxes from Nazar
  • 4x Polk DB650 Door Speakers
  • 2x Orion 10" Subs
  • 1x Sony Xplod XM-752EQX 2-channel amp
  • 1x Lanzar Vibe 420 4-channel amp
  • 1x JL Audio CleanSweep
  • Amp kit and various accessories

Sounds fantastic!!! Drastic, drastic improvement over stock. I'm thrilled with the sound. The only thing left for me to do is remove the 8" cutout in the rear deck and mount a nice matching grill on top. The Cleansweep aux input, if you notice, is mounted on the driver-side console by the emergency break.

Happy happy - joy joy
