KZJonny
If all nuts and bolts throughout the area are snug…. Something in the clutch? How new/old is the throwout bearing?

apacman316
I haven't check to see if bolts are snugged but I'm pretty confident they are since the only work I did beside maintenance in that area was to fix a vacuum leak that required me to remove the intercooler since owning the car in 2020. this car is automatic. thanks for the reply. Yeah, sorry, didn't read the OP closely enough. Well..... if everything in that area is snug, then maybe it's bad news and something in the trans/front diff? A mechanics stethescope, or a long screwdriver held to your ear etc... etc... may help to pin down where it's coming from. Really no external moving parts in that section of the bay.... Deltaking
Isn't that the tubro... Maybe play on the blade and the blade is wobbling inside of turbo...
apacman316
after getting a stethoscope, it's the turbo. thanks all. going to swap out this weekend
Deltaking
Maybe just a rebuild, you may not need to replace the entire turbo unless the price comparison is more or less the same with labor or if your planning to put a different turbo in like the VF46...
