Benz E - really quiet and heavy and boat-like. Nice interior New Passat - boring Maxima - horrible interior, torque steer was awful More bang for the buck with the Legacy and I get to keep AWD, never want to drive FWD again and RWD doesn't work here. gusgusdude Posted April 12, 2007 Share Posted April 12, 2007 Acura TL (too expensive) Acura TSX (not enough power but tight feel) Mazda speed 6 (closest compettor) Nissan Murano (didn't like the transmission feel) Nissan Maxima (gauge cluster stupid & no AWD) In the end I went with the Suby over the Mazda because I got a sweet deal on a 2005 left over & my local Mazda dealer could not sell the Speed 6's because they didn't pay for the licence fee.
