Thread with details of the install is at the end of this ad. These were available from Russia via ebay only before, but no longer can be shipped. I obtained a few with occasion. Have 2 for sale. This panel is designed to transfer HVAC control from EDM radio. You will need to have specific EDM radio as donor - from the thread posted below by finsta for EDM radio part # is Subaru Euro Radio P/N: 86201AG460. There is a more expensive EDM radio that can also be used as HVAC donor - 86271AG110. Has DVD drive instead of CD changer but still same separate LHD HVAC module. Asking $135 per panel, this includes Paypal fees and shipping. They look the same, except color. I understand the JDM HVAC wouldn't work as the physical buttons are in reverse order. SubOperator Posted January 9, 2023 Author Share Posted January 9, 2023 I think the JDM panel controls will transfer just fine but as you already mentioned the buttons will be mirrored (LHD vs RHD). The reason for donor EDM radio is that unlike USDM radios the HVAC controls are separate module and can be transferred over. I have one of those panels from the russian ebay guy, did not know the USDM board was all one unit as opposed to the separate boards from the JDM kit. Good luck! These are getting hard to find! For the original Subaru radio the key there that it is LHD car radio so the HVAC controls are on the correct side. There is a version of this radio with DVD player instead of CD changer - 86271AG110. Same LHD HVAC controls but the unit is expensive (~ 350Euro/USD). Available on various parts sites from EU. For the RHD version there is model 86201AG350 - exact copy of AG460 but RHD. PLENTY of radios available from UK, with shipped prices for good/great looking clean one around 150USD. So for anyone thinking about going 2DIN convo from USDM there is 86201AG350 from UK/Ireland - it has separate HVAC module. Luckily I have a Polish friend who may be able to purchase there and ship to US.
