Engine swap and manual conversion

Hi all, just chasing some help. 

I’ve got an 03 Impreza with an ez30 out of an 07 Liberty/Legacy paired up with the original Impreza’s 5 speed manual gearbox. 

I’ve shorted the wire to fix the key lock and bypassed the the starter interlock but I can’t get this thing to start. 

I thought maybe my battery was cooked so I replaced that and the starter motor and still nothing. 

Any help would be appreciated!
