Reags8
Ok searched the forum and really didnt find anything that worked. I picked up a 05' GTL wagon and looking for a winter tire rim set up. In the past I could find tons of used VW setups on craigslist, marketplace etc ... but I can't find anything that is a simple bolt on ? Do I need to purchase spacers and look for another bolt patterns ? tire size etc ... ? Thanks in advance Reags
NoOne1223
What you're looking for are 5x100 bolt pattern wheels and a bore of 56.1 there is a whole thread about tire sizes. Sent from my SM-N960W using Tapatalk
Rcnesneg
Yep - 5x100 with a 56.1mm center bore. So basically any 5x100 subaru wheel. Wheels from other manufacturers don't generally work since they don't have the right center bore. These are basically all fair game: https://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2239019
Max Capacity
I run 225/45-17's or 18's on both my cars for winter and summer tires. You may be able to find used rims on the for sale forum on here. Or many online places will sell you new rims. I have two sets of OEM wheels for both my cars. I like the way they look. Tirerack.com will have a large selection of wheels. 305,600miles 5/2012 ej257 short block, 8/2011 installed VF52 turbo, @20.8psi, 280whp, 300ftlbs. (SOLD). CHECK your oil, these cars use it.
