Another option is here - https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1032084  Printed in TPU95 it is basically identical to the factory fuel cap tether but far more flexible and durable.  Mine is a wonky color since at the time I had TPU only in grass green color.

The tether is nice, but the issue I have with it is that it does allow the cap to hit the body of the car while fueling.

 

The TPU would have been great for me if I had a printer last year though! Had to buy a whole gas cap because the tether was broken, and I was chasing an evap code (that still exists, but is so small my mechanic can't find it)

Gave the wagon a bath yesterday, thoroughly cleaned the wheels and exterior glass. Needed a good hand wash. Then took it for a nice ride and beat on the brakes to remove some deposits. Loved seeing intake temps with an eight in front again, and not a 9 or 10..

I need to replace the lower window/door trims. Not horrible, but looking a little shabby lately.

The method of swinging the driver door closed w this corner of trim as purchase point did not pay off. Broke the end tab  a while ago. Likewise nagging me when I notice all ‘round. Time to scoop before the parts dry up

I was pricing them out last night. Is there an option that’s not $300 for all 4 of them? I assume OEM is probably the only good way to go.

I might wrap them if anyone has suggestions on a durable high quality vinyl.

For the last year, $75 per ($300 total) is the best I've seen.  They are also getting harder to find.

Damn….. and I was thinking of doing the same.

I mean they could probably be carefully sanded and painted in place, but that doesn’t fix the rubber or the bristle.

Posting this nearly a month after it happened but it was still fun and note worthy. @SubOperator @Rallywhale @Hazdaz and myself made it to a cars n coffee at a brewery in Massachusetts (Tree House). Upon arrival I was both insulted and complimented by being told that my "normal" car was parked where the show cars go....like that is the whole point of the LGT, fly under the radar. Anyway, good time. You can spot the three wagons and @Rallywhale BRZ

I left MA in 2004. There's a reason they're called Massholes. It looks like a nice sized show.

Texas panhandle…but I’m basically having to start saving from scratch, because my brother’s Ford died and a buddy was selling his running blob-eye Impreza OBS for $1000. Was cheaper to buy that than fix the blown-up engine in the Ford (and, come on, it’s a Subaru. I much prefer that blue oval lol). Such is life.

Been so busy the last month...

- Swapped JDM engine into my '05 Outback daily.

- Stripped my Legacy interior to super clean the grime.

- Installed new coilovers on the legacy.

- Pulled the Legacy engine last night, clutch is cooked and need to deep clean the engine/bay.

Looking waaaay better dude. I went through something like that with the OBXT I picked up last year. Started with your 'normal' overall interior detail, then kept having to go deeper. Ended up with most of the interior + carpet + dash trims out to get most of the filth.

 

Where in Canada are you? I spend last weeked doing a complete rebush and repaint on one half of the rear of the XT. This weekeend may be the other half. So I understand the fight against rust.

Thanks man, cleaning isn't the fun part about working on my cars but I can't deal with filth. I'm in Southern Ontario just outside the GTA.

Looking really clean, and glad that there's another LGT in our ( @KZJonny and I's) neck of the woods! Detailing can be a pain, but so worth it! She looks good!
