Robbob72cb
I just realized today that I’m not a big fan of my stock 14 Legacy...I’ve been getting ideas of how I’m gonna Plasti-Dip the front to my liking (but thought u has the 12 grill) —I don’t :-( Question 1: Will the OEM 12 Legacy got the 14 Legacy? Question 2: What other options do I have? First two pictures are the 14 grill (the one I have and don’t love) Next three pictures are the 12 Legacy Grill (I think I like this one better). Or do I just do the mesh grill aftermarket? [emoji848] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Humble Rumble
The 2010-2012 front grille is completely different shape from the 2013-2014 grille and will not fit in the opening or with the bumper of your 2014. If you really, REALLY wanted it, you would need to also swap to a 2010-2012 front bumper as well. As for aftermarket options that WILL fit your car, aside from going completely custom, if you want a mesh grille, your best option is the C-Mod grille for 13-14. https://cmodgrilles.auctivacommerce.com/Subaru-Legacy-2013-2014-Mesh-Grille-P5495394.aspx Here is that grille color-matched on user testa422's car. Looks really nice this way. 2012 Legacy 3.6R Build Thread 5th Gen Legacy BM/BR Body Kit Compendium Thread
LegitLegacy
I have the CMod Grill. Did not like the mesh that came with it as it was chicken wire and looked cheap. So I went to customcargrills.com and ordered some free samples. Replaced the mesh and very happy with the results... Keep in mind the frame of the grill does not come painted and requires some modification to install.. I had to drill the holes and trim the lower tabs to get it to fit. It is fiberglass, easy to crack, so if you are not comfortable I would have it professionally done.
TDWPgtp
Robbob72cb- I think you and I are in the minority here when it comes to front end preferences. Most of the guys on here prefer the 13-14 front ends, while I don't. However, you are lucky that people on here have swapped from one to the other, as they can provide info on what is necessary, and maybe someone even has the parts to do it. Anyway, good luck with whatever you choose, and hopefully you can get the look you want.
Robbob72cb
Does anyone have a lower grill? Like underneath the license plate? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
FLlegacy
I thought cmods did, I am pretty sure there are some on ebay though. Not the prettiest things a custom one would probably look better.
Zee199969
Grillcraft made a lower grille. I think CMOD only made upper grilles, at least for our gen Sent from my ONEPLUS A5000 using Tapatalk My "Build"

Humble Rumble
^That grille will not fit cars made for the US unfortunately. We missed out on tons of neat OEM body options that most of the rest of the world markets got due to the bespoke USDM front end, including any type of OEM mesh grille. 2012 Legacy 3.6R Build Thread 5th Gen Legacy BM/BR Body Kit Compendium Thread
Falcor
You could make your own with mesh from customcargrills.com. That is what I did with the Outback. Want to do the same with the GT. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/moab123/Subaru/DF283A1B-A75B-4E22-8B83-DE72A55C6484_zpsrxj5ndqg.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v281/moab123/Subaru/0C3FE236-3E3B-4F6F-B51B-731E0330990D_zpsgltut4kf.jpg

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk This is the one I used: https://www.customcargrills.com/Perforated-Grill-Mesh.asp It held up great and I still have it after selling the Outback. I had it powder coated flat black. Holds up much better than the original Plastidip. I had to attach it using zip ties, but with it being a dark color you really couldn’t tell. I tried to figure out a better mounting system, but eventually gave up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
