Humble Rumble
If you're looking for a high beam bulb, I don't think those are right. The high beam bulbs I just changed out in my new headlights awaiting install were HB3/9005 type. I don't think 9007 and 9005 are interchangeable. 2012 Legacy 3.6R Build Thread 5th Gen Legacy BM/BR Body Kit Compendium Thread

Timothy.B
I always check this Sylvania Bulb Guide before buying bulbs for my car What? Check the guide? It's more fun to take the front of the car apart to change it then realize it's the wrong one I like the Xtravision ones I went with. They're just the "brighter downroad" type but whiter than the warm colored OEM. http://i.imgur.com/EJiyfT9.jpg I was gonna do the parking lights to match but planning on Anzo's in a few months hopefully so decided to just leave'm. Sorry that you guys have to see my ugly all chrome headlights like this. Hm, HID's probably don't go out ~once a year like the halogen's. Now I'm thinking about HID's...Subaru did sent me a letter that they'd replace the bulbs that go out for the low beams since there's some sort of defect. That'd just be a nuisance to drive half an hour every time. The HID's would pay for themselves after a few years...oh man... http://i.imgur.com/4apz0el.gif Timothy.B's 2011 LEGACY 3.6R
Syndicate
...I have to replace the HIRs in my highbeams, but was considering picking up low beams as well just to be safe. Unfortunately the Osram Rallye 65W, but I came across these Philips LED bulbs at Powerbulbs and was wondering if anyone had an opinion on these. fedaykin
I've seen some tests and it looks quite good. Not sure if it's worth the price.
outahere
Are you saying the same set of Osram 65w bulbs lasted 6 years and performed well? If so, order another set! Looks like Osram Rallye 65W H7 are no longer available. http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/showthread.php?433667-Osram-Rallye-65W-H7-is-discontinued-Is-there-another-like-it&highlight=Osram
A_A_ron
On the headlight forums the general consensus is that LEDs just aren't quite there yet and any decent HID will beat them. As for comparing high end standard bulbs to LED bulbs that's up for debate. The thing I have experienced with LEDs is if you look at them they are bright. If you shine them down the road they fade fast. These are the only LEDs that people have mentioned as being seriously competitive for headlamps. http://www.morimotohid.com/led-lighting/h11-morimoto-2stroke.html You may have to work some magic trying to squeeze everything in though. When I want to just do regular old Halogen bulbs on a boring car but really improve beam output I use these or something like them. https://www.usa.philips.com/c-p/12362XVB2/x-tremevision-car-headlight-bulb Build Thread
