Andy_Mac
After people's thoughts on either option. Both are similarly overpriced but can live with that, just can't de ide on what one. Both have coolant connections, both are essentially joining the head and crankcase breathers together in one catch can, and both drain the oil back to the crankcase port in slightly. Different ways. Only real difference I can come up with is that the Radium one completely eliminates the PCV where the Perrin keeps it, but changes the setup to include the crankcase and heads which may be quite useful for low load driving where vacuum at the turbo inlet is not strong enough to pull the whole way through the CC, the heads and crankcase. http://perrinperformance.com/i-14908570-air-oil-separator-for-wrx-sti.html http://www.radiumauto.com/Air-Oil-Separator-AOS-Kit-02-14-Subaru-P859.aspx 2000 Legacy B4 RSK - SOLD 2006 Legacy BP5 GT Spec B wagon - Garage Thread 2011 VW T5 van 2.0L of turbo diesel awesomeness
fahr_side
The big issue with the Perrin kit is how crappy the plastic connectors are that screw into the can and how insistent they are on weeping oil. Everyone I know who has one is living with the constant film of oil around those connections. I have no experience with the Radium kit but their fuel systems parts are high quality and well thought-out. The Crawford kit works fine for me, though again it's overpriced. If I'd had more patience or time for bracketeering I'd have DIY'd with this: http://www.aircraftspruce.com/catalog/eppages/oilseparator05-12369.php Obligatory 'build thread' Increased capacity to 2.7 liters, still turbo, but no longer need spark plugs. Andy_Mac
There is the option for the Perrin to come with metal fittings instead, but adds an extra $90 to the cost. Quality shortfallings seem to be a fairly common thing with Perrin so maybe the Radium is the way to go. Yea their fuel stuff looks pretty good too, actually came across the Radium AOS whilst looking into their top feed conversion kit. 2000 Legacy B4 RSK - SOLD 2006 Legacy BP5 GT Spec B wagon - Garage Thread 2011 VW T5 van 2.0L of turbo diesel awesomeness

rhino6303
I have a perrin with no issues. I put rtv black on the bottom as per instructions so no oil seeps and I also used teflon tape for the fittings so they don't weep either.
