Wow. That is thoroughly, properly, truly, completely broken. Well done sir!

Obligatory 'build thread' Increased capacity to 2.7 liters, still turbo, but no longer need spark plugs.

Mr crank better get it together, we're in the 2016 teens now. :)

Sadly, Mr. Crank succumbed to a massive heart attack before he could ditch his luddite ways and join the rest of us in the 21st century. :(

I thought my melted piston was carnage... this is crazy!

Edit: Just realized what I did, but I like my response too much to delete it. Mods pls ban me for bumping this.

Hopefully the sting is long gone for you after 3 years my friend...

I made the mistake of having my new block and heads installed by Subaru after losing my turbo and entire long block a month after I bought it used, and they hung me out to dry because I provided a BNR turbo \ K&N intake, instead of a stocker. I garaged my LGTL shortly after it started misfiring and leaking oil and coolant. I went the usual routes 3 months of bringing it back to them for service, after that getting my tune tweeked several times, did a compression test and had compression loss on all four cylinders. Garage time. Pulled the motor at around 12,000 miles, rings were on their way out, oil and coolant everywhere. I'm just taking my time, I have Jeep to get around, I don't want this to happen to me again. This forum taught me a lot and I had a lot of anger turned to hope over the past few years. Boxkita saw how frustrated I was, and I thank him for his good advice.
