She does plenty of wrenching, actually. In that picture with the turbo, she had just gotten back from a break. I had to break loose the turbo housing bolts, she was simply lining things back up to take them off when I snapped the picture. She's admittedly not got a very strong upper body, and 13-year old turbo bolts aren't exactly easy. . . even with PB Blaster on them.

Truth be told, she hates engine work. She'd rather be working on brakes and suspension . . . which is easily dirtier work. Not only that, but she also turns rotors, and details like a pro. Enough of this, though. . . I didn't post this to say "look how cool my GF is" . . . I wanted to show some of the other Legacy guys with older turbo models what's going on in our camp. :D

I'm actually disappointed we took as few pictures of this project as we did. After nearly four days of working on the car, we spent almost no time documenting things. :(

However, for non-believers, I give you the following:

Well in all matters tell your GF nice car, I'm thinking now about picking up an older turbo Legacy as a beater car, so I might come knockin for some part hookups and tips when tearing it all apart

They seriously make great daily drivers. . . especially if you don't want to worry about door dings, dents, perfect paint, etc. And they're not slow, even in stock form. 160hp is nothing to turn your nose up at when you're paying only around $3,000 for the whole car. ;)

Understood. And I've been proven wrong. At least my remarks were successful in getting some more cool pictures of the, umm, car.;)

Don't worry guys. . . I'll keep them coming. ;)
