o2fst4uo
I can't find anyone that's done this and explained it. How the hell do I get this chrome bit either side of the Subaru logo off? http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15/04/01/3536c8e66cb37bffb6b6a58260e102e7.jpg I've understandably refrained from using force
Leviman
You could replace the whole piece with a usdm piece. I'm sure someone on here would trade you.
o2fst4uo
Huh? I'm asking how to take it off. Offering a replacement doesn't exactly help, I still want know how to get it off

xtea
I might just plasti dip over mine. But I have a black one so it wouldn't stick out as much.
magnusonsubie
Mine is plastidipped on my wagon however I also have a black wagon so it isn't as obvious. PM me your email and I'll send you the FSM that I have for USDM cars. I'm sure the process is very similar. 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B

BigTDogg MA
Nice, I'm doing Konis and Epics later this summer. I think I've got the 1/4" spacers. OP, search for Vacation Pics in General Chat. Or just click the link above

magnusonsubie
The chrome section isn't as big as your section is but it was right above the license plate area. 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B
o2fst4uo
Managed to get it off if anyone wants to know in future. @magnusonsubie cheers for the fsm. Didn't quite give me exact directions but it have me a massive hint as to how it comes apart . USDM and JDM have slightly different parts

magnusonsubie
If you don't like the plastidip you could see if automotivetouchup.com carries your paint code and you could get a can of paint to paint over the plastidip. 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B
o2fst4uo
Good idea. I'm liking it better than chrome, that's for sure. And I don't really like how pre-facelift boots look with just no strip at all between the lights. I might leave it as is and roll with the black on blue theme in future. magnusonsubie
I'm doing the inverse of that with my wagon. Blue on black. 2005 Vader Wagon Material Tests on Ringland Failure Piston I should have held off and purchased a wagon instead of the spec.B
