GFB bov install

This is what we start with:

It can be configured in 3 ways:

1) 100% recirculation

2) 50% to the engine and 50% to atmosphere

3) 100% atmosphere

Stock BOV under engine cover:

Remove 4 clips that hold the engine cover and both #10 screws that hold the stock bov and clamp holding return hose

heh.. do u think its possible to actually update the OP with the GFB bov install..

its really simple, its like 2 bolts and a clip

 

 

really simple except you failed to mention you need someone else there to calibrate the + -

 

install will hav eto wait until tomorrow

ok, sorry if iis a repost, but i have read the post, but my question is, how do we reoil and grease the gfb bov? mainly, what oil and what kind of grease did you guys use or should we use?

 

 

Take the hex heads off the top of the valve, top cap pops off, clean brass piston, lubricate. Something like LPS2 would work well to lubricate the GFB BOV.

I got a pic but it's kinda hard to see if you don't know what it is(vacuum lines FTL). Not taking it off anytime soon cause I used liquid gasket(2nd owner of unit). Will try and get a better one later today. Really cloudy now.
