discojon
This reminds me I need to grab another tee to plumb my boost gauge line into my STI BPV signal hose. Had to use the blue tee off my LGT manifold in a pinch. Exactly what I did, hence this idea
technicalgarage
I find the blue tee is perfectly fine if you switch to correctly sized silicone lines. Have two blue tees seeing 20psi for the past two years with no problem.
m sprank
I find the blue tee is perfectly fine if you switch to correctly sized silicone lines. Have two blue tees seeing 20psi for the past two years with no problem. And I have seen so many blue tees crack and split into multiple pieces I cant count. Buy the metal barbed fittings. They are all I use at the shop any more.

whitrzac
Hi, my name is zach, and I am a victim of the Blue Tee. I went out for a run and when I got back the car was idling at 20:1 afr and misfiring an all 4 cylinders. Metal Tee ordered:cool:

JJr
When I took my car in for my TB job I asked my mechanic to replace my Blue T with my Turkey T, he said no unless I have new vacuum lines to go with it ( he was concerned with them being dry and brittle) Any thoughts ? Thx Edited April 21, 2015 by JJr

Turkeylord
Well that's the first time I've heard that one. My lines were still pretty supple. The tee is sized right for the lines, so there should be minimal stretching. <shrug>
JJr
I was surprised too, he has obviously ran into the issue prior, I'll ask again or try and do it myself.
