how is that ssautochrome FMIC? is it similar to an ebay kit or is it actually a nice setup? Great car BTW

Thank you. The ssautochrome kit is a splitting image of the Fast Motorsports kit. Replaced your factory bumper beam, the cores seem to be identical and its held up great. Quality welds, the fitment was just fine with minor tweaking but nothing major. Its actually been surprisingly great for me. Came with both piping for lgt flanged turbos as well as sti flanged turbos. And then also with the bov. I want to say I snagged this all up for $275 shipped. It was one of those well for $275 shipped if its total crap I really don't care. Haha but it has by far exceeded any expectations I have ever had. I'd totally reccomend it to anyone and for all I know it was made by FMS not stamped and given this name and sold by ssautochrome.

A few photos from my time and meet up with Midwest Car Culture. I cant wait for the new wheel setup. This whole snow and cold weather business is getting super old here in Ohio.

Finally got to test fit the wheels over the weekend and then headed to the Columbus Auto Show. Terrible photos. Dark garage+cell phone pics= bad. However we have figured out exactly what is in order to fit these wheels. Rears we couldnt lower down onto because my rear fenders were never rolled. The fronts, well the wheels sat on the fenders. I need to put my 5mm spacers on all around. More aggressive roll up front and slight pull. Hope to get to all of this over the weekend!!

I have certainly thought about it. haha the car is torn apart in the garage. Tinkering around cleaning and detailing the bay, installing things, sending piping out for powder coating. Gotta get ready for WBM. :) cant have it looking all gross and dirty. I took a brass brush to everything aluminum in the bay and it looks tons better.

Finally got all of my intercooler piping and other pieces back from powdercoating. I went with a black pearl for color, i hope to get some close up photos in sunlight to share soon. I think its goes perfectly with the car. And then i went to the car wash today. More updates soon! Rolling fenders hopefully next weekend and then i can fit the NT03's.

Well. Still need to get the extreme low's on, but its been too nice not to put the wheels on. Finals week is here so I must wait a week for the coils/alignment but I'm loving the wheels so far.

I love you're build, its time to start chipping away at the old B. Do you remember what color lamin-x you used front and rear? Also how is the lamin-x holding up on the headlights, or did you only wrap the indicators

I don't recall what it actually is. For the front the indicators are the only parts covered. All of it is holding up very very well. I'm impressed. I think I will be taking off the lamin-x on the indicators as I want to clean up the front a bit. But I'd recommend it. It has served me well.
