Where to find a dyno or tuning shop in Northern California?
-
Hey Rusty,
Stage 1 Kit Includes:
- AccessPORT
- Quick Start User Guide
- USB Cable
- OBDII Connector
- Software CD
Actual AccessPORT screen shots:

Requires no tools or mechanical knowledge to install. The AccessPORT does all the work of programming the factory ECU for you, just simply plug it into the factory service diagnosis port located below the steering wheel. Follow the on-screen instructions and within 10 minutes you'll be out driving, enjoying your new found performance.
In order to improve the already sizable performance of the LGT, our engineers have spent hundreds of hours researching the factory Engine Computer (ECU) programming and testing changes on our All-Wheel Drive chassis dynos.
Our goal is simple: to provide the optimal balance of performance, driveability, engine response, and reliability.
The AccessPORT, the core component in Stage 1, enables you with the freedom to continue the quest for additional performance if you desire in the future. As other engine modifications are made, the AccessPORT will grow and adapt to your needs helping you extract the most from your LGT. Click here to read more about the AccessPORT.
In addition to improved performance, the AccessPORT also has additional features allowing you to put the vehicle into special modes such as: Max Fuel Economy, Valet, or Security.
For a dyno graph displaying the improved power and torque gained from installing the Stage 1 Power package, click here.
Please Note: This package will only work with North American Legacy GTs.

"Universal joint" ?
thats what I thought...but glad the picture confirms it....
i definately have one of those somewhere in the garage!
-
I would run stage 2 with your new components for a little while...
make sure you don't have any issues from those....
that way if something happens right after your spark plug change you don't have to wonder if it was the spark plug change or the new components from going stage 2....
just my suggestion...
Ok, so maybe this is a dumb question, but what are you referring to as a "knuckle extension"?Im right at 50k miles, but just went to Stage2, so I figure its a good time to get some fresh plugs in the car.

COIL PACK VIDEO....????
Where is it?

must not drive enough...
nobody ever spots me!
That or maybe I'm just moving too fast!

yeah she likes my 17" a lot...but if she is going to have one for herself she wanted it a little smaller... felt like mine was too heavy... have trouble fitting it in some places.
-
NOVA,
Who is the hottie in your avatar....
-
I'm about to spring on the Jet Black Dell Inspiron 15 for the wife.
Best Buy 649. They were 599 but price went up last month.
Looks like a good machine for the price of an access port.
Thought about a mini but the wife hated the smaller size.
(She is used to BIG things)
Tried building a very similar setup on Dell's web site and the price came out to 827.
They have worked out some good pricing on those pre packaged systems.
-
you are screwwwwed....
sorry couldn't resist...
I'm not the world's best mechanic so I could only guess...
I think if you intend to get it out you will have to drill it out and then replace it with a new screw.
-
nobody has teh coil pack video...and nobody knows what the part number and cost for the NGK spark plugs...
guess you and I need to do more searching...
-
Do you have the part numbers from the IRIDIUM IX that went in?
Cost?
Where did you get them?
Are the NGK spark plugs something that the local parts stores around town are doing to carry or are these special ordre from NGK?
-
I don't have the new style AP.
But the old style you had to put the connectors back in to "UNMARRY"

BLACK FANG... COOL STUFF.... SUBARU going for the 11 year no flush.
That is a huge difference from my regular schedule of doing it every year just before SUMMER TIME heat comes.
Very interesting...thanks for the info...
Also... whats up with "JOSPGUT" and his 12 posts.
I guess he never really joined the lgt.com family.
I wonder if he found out what was wrong with his car.
-
wow looks very nice... no dvd drive right?
just have to get external drive if you need that...
thanks for the info!
-
who makes tehe 1000he

Those mini laptops sound like a great idea.
My wife's desktop is getting VERY old and we are looking at replacing it with a laptop so she can take it with her to school or work.
The mini looks like you don't get an optical drive.... other than that it would probably do most everything she needs.
It will run MS Office right?
Email, Web, Pictures, MS Office and CD drive would do it....
sure would like to save the money and it would be easy to travel with....
and which DELL model is HOT right now.... PINK MINI

LOSSOL,
Any updates with your 2006 NAVI tester...
those with the spec bo or others with NAV would LOVE to see the boost gauge on the display....
thanks
-
factory navigation update?
-
OK so they are $32 bucks online.
Not the end of the world so I can sleep now.
What exactly do they mean by superseded.
Why the new part number?
Did the design change?
Also how do I know its going to be the right color?
Lastly I need to pick a web site.
Anyone have a favorite:
I found the part on the following sites:
subaruparts.com
1stsubaruparts.com
subarupartswarehouse.com
thanks

Body shop did a number on an interior part that they had to take off in order to repair the outside.
THey did an awesome job on the body work and paint but as you know those interior parts can break easily.
Before I go in there to talk to thema bout it I thought I would find out what the part number was and how much it costs to replace.
THis part I realize is rarely replaced so I haven't found the part number anywhere.
Hoping OPIE or someone connected can get me a price.

I also might need the LH too but don't have part number.
Thanks!

Count me in....
but looking for an update on the 2006 Navigation integration
Would LOVE to have a software boost gauge on the navigation screen.
I thought you had a tester ready for this.
Let me know how it is going.
